That anticipated Nook Color might not be Barnes & Noble's only big announcement this week. The retailer is also expected to debut Nook Kids, a digital library of books with over 12,000 titles for a younger generation of readers.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the new program is aimed at children 3 to 8 years old. The collection will include novels, picture books and enhanced versions of classics, the latter two of which would definitely go nicely with a colorized e-book reader.
NookKids.com is predicted to launch soon, and an iPad app might follow by the end of the year.
