Creative folk rejoice, Quark's tool is indeed splendid...

Lilliputian DTP house, Quark, has released version 1.5 of QuarkImmedia its multimedia authoring tool.

Snuggling up to its excellent QuarkXpress software this lets all you creative folk design interactive communication projects incorporating sound, video, animation and hypertext. As well as the more traditional print methods, users can then deliver their projects on CD-ROM, disk and CD/Web hybrids. Version 1.5 includes new features such as expanded colour handling to specify thousand or millions of colours and the ability to specify opacity and drop shadows for objects.

It supports Microsoft's 32-bit API, making it a native Windows 95/NT application. Available now for £129.
