Number of broadband subscribers to grow 31% in 2005, 24% in 2006, 18% in 2007, 14% in 2008, 12% in 2009

141.3 mln people had broadband in 2004, up from 93.3 mln in 2003 that constitutes 52% growth ratio, iSuppli says. Subscriber growth is predicted to cool in the coming years, with 31% growth in 2005, a 24% rise in 2006, followed by 18, 14 and 12% increases in 2007, 2008 and 2009 respectively.
