NVIDIA has confirmed the retail names of the next-generation Fermi graphics processors.
Two names have been confirmed:
Both of these GPUs will be based on the Fermi GF100 chip.
It's an odd move because this means that there won't be any high-end cards in the GeForce 3xx lineup. However, given that the 3xx series is made up of rebranded cards and GPUs, it's not that much of a surprise that NVIDIA wouldn't want to taint its new cards with that past.
