SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Palm Inc. Monday begins shipping a colorful handheld computer for the mass market and plans to announce other product line changes that are the first since new top management came on board earlier this year. The M100, which will retail for $149, will feature 4MB of memory and personal information manager functions. Unlike other Palm products, it will be the first of the company's devices to come in a choice of casing colors, such as silver and metallic blue. See eWeek's review. -- Wall Street Journal
