Palms get boost from Yahoo!

Users of Palm Inc.'s (PALM) handheld devices will be able to access mail and send and receive instant messages from Yahoo! Inc., under a deal announced today by the two companies.

Yahoo!’s (YHOO) Mail and Messenger programs will be bundled later this year with Palm III, Palm V and Palm VII products, the companies said. Full story to follow. -- Margaret Kane, ZDNet News
