The company known for making digital frames and other photo-related devices incurred numerous problems and inevitable price drops with the first Novel e-book reader.
The new Personal eReader is considerably different with a 6-inch ePaper display and 600 x 800 resolution. And instead of dual touch screen menus like the first version, users have a button-operated user interface at the bottom.

The Novel Personal eReader will begin to roll out later this month for $199.99. It's shocking to see Pandigital start so high with the pricing, especially this close to the holidays, considering that the Kindle and the Nook Wi-Fi-only versions start at $139.99 and $149.99 respectively.
