Philippines leads B2B world

Top award for farming cooperatives...

A Philippines-based e-marketplace which allows farming cooperatives across the country to trade via SMS has won a B2B accolade from the World Bank. The Ecommerce for Farmers initiative, launched by B2B exchange b2bpricenow.com, beat 2,400 other international entries to clinch the $118,000 price. World Bank officials said the number of entries had increased 85 per cent on last year, with submissions coming from 122 different countries.
