Playboy is seeking female workers from WorldCom and Arthur Andersen to pose for the magazine after hailing "women of Enron", a pictorial in this month's issue, an outstanding success. In Houston, home to the now defunct Enron and six of the employees who posed for the special issue, sales rose fivefold. Now Playboy is hoping to cash in on the national appetite for scantily clad victims of scandal with similar pictures of women from stricken telco WorldCom and embattled accounting firm Andersen. The move has also proved popular with the ladies. Over 450 Enron women responded to Playboy's advert, 300 were interviewed and a lucky 10 were chosen to bare all. Plans for Worldcom and Andersen editions were prompted by phone calls from employees who were also interested in posing. With their employers in such a financial mess applicants will be glad to know that Playboy will pay them an undisclosed amount for their day's work. However, women who want an eyeful of naked accountants will have to wait until September when Playgirl publishes a "men of Enron" edition. For related news, see:
