Prodigy users get a lift from Priceline

Consumers trying to get a deal on airline tickets or hotel rooms on priceline.com (Nasdaq: PCLN) will be able to get extra discounts if they sign up for Internet service from Prodigy Communications Corp., under a deal the companies announced Tuesday. Prodigy (Nasdaq:PRGY) said its credit offer would be applied to the customer's bid, to increase the likelihood that an airline or hotel will accept the offer. -- Margaret Kane, ZDNet News
