Marc Hedlund's ecumenical post about RSS and Atom sends the right message at the right time. With RSS a force of nature sweeping across the major platforms, it's encouraging to see pragmatic and proactive action from the O'Reilly team. And with strategic posts by Tim on Jobs and Gates from D3 and Hedlund on the Factory Tour, O'Reilly Radar has collected enough Rojo flags and clickthroughs to show up on my Frequent Feed attention list. Now that you've got our attention, guys, howzabout a full-text feed please.

Speaking of Rojo flags, there's an email thread going between Chris Alden, Joshua Schacter, and some Greasemonkeys about tying flags and del.icio.us tags together as per my earlier request. Joshua points to his API and a GM workaround post, and asks "Is there anything else I can do to allow better access?"

Speaking of email, I got this from a Gillmor Daily listener:

Regarding the podcasts, I have one request of you; please please add a trailer to the podcasts..  I don’t always get the chance to catch up on your blog, so relying on the audio alone is rather confusing when I get no context at all to place it in. Remember, most of us probably don’t know you have posted a new podcast until it comes up in our playlists on our way to work!

Not sure what he means by trailer, but today's GD (a smackdown with Redmonk's James Governor from London) features both intro and outro, thanks to David Berlind pointing out the Audacity button for sliding tracks over Skype IM. Now that Susan Mernit has gotten Skyped, she's up next on tomorrow's show.
