Reel.com quits commerce biz

Reel.com will cease its e-commerce operations, parent company Hollywood Entertainment Corp. (HLYW) announced today. Company officials cited "major declines in the value of publicly traded e-commerce companies," and said they had been unable to find outside investment sources for the division, which has not been profitable. -- Margaret Kane, ZDNet News
