CNBC anchor Jim Goldman has just reported that according to sources, Apple will roll out a 3G iPhone by May or June of next year.
No mention of GB, but I am guessing 16. I mean, we are talking more network, more bandwidth, higher-res camera, more capacity for all those apps Apple as well as some SDK-equipped (in Feb.) third-party iPhone developers will have ready for in-device availability and/or OTA download?
Oh, and the price.
I'm wagering 16GB at $499. Apple will decide that is the sweet spot between the too-high initial $599 price for iPhone "generation one," and cross-the-chasm to the mainstream knockdown to $399.
The current iPhones? I see a markdown to $299, and maybe even lower for some special promotions.
Agree?
