Report: Symbian close to IPO announcement

In what could become the next huge IPO, Psion PLC Nokia Corp., Motorola Inc. and L.M. Ericsson Telephone Co. are preparing the ground to take Symbian public, according to Britain's Sunday Telegraph. The newspaper says that the mobile phone joint venture IPO is still up for grabs between Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. -- ZDNN
