18/05/01 The economy might not be in total meltdown but it's still hurting. Palm's found that people are buying fewer of their handhelds than expected, and that combined with production problems has done the dirty on their profits. And, truth to tell, it's no hardship to put off upgrading your PDA for a month or three if you think you'll need the money for food. The solution is easy. If they really want to revitalise their product line, they should licence the Gameboy Advance chipset... oh, shut up, Goodwins, already!
