T-Mobile on Sunday introduced its fourth Google Android device, the Samsung Behold II.

Scheduled to launch later this year -- no release date or pricing were announced, but expect it by the holidays -- the Behold II is Samsung's first Android smartphone in the U.S., and joins the HTC-made G1 and myTouch 3G and the upcoming Motorola CLIQ in the Google Android family.

Unlike the G1 and myTouch 3G, Samsung dramatically modified the operating system with its TouchWiz interface, which allows the user to customize three different home screens with various widgets and shortcuts. Most noticeably, the Behold II features a "cube menu" that provides access to six multimedia features: music, photos, videos, the Web, YouTube and Amazon MP3.

Otherwise, the smartphone is solid: it's got a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, 5-megapixel camera and up 16GB expandable memory via microSD.

Naturally, it offers support for Google services and Exchange ActiveSync.
