SAS Institute appoints new marketing executives

Heron Chan has been appointed SAS Institute's director of Sales and Marketing in Hong Kong and Southern China, while Queenie Tse will report to Chan as marketing manager for Hong Kong and Southern China.

SAS Institute has announced two new appointments aimed at strengthening its sales and marketing teams in the Greater China region.

Heron Chan

Heron Chan has been appointed director of Sales and Marketing in Hong Kong and Southern China, while Queenie Tse will report to Chan as marketing manager for Hong Kong and Southern China.

A 15-year veteran of the technology industry, Chan was vice president of Sales at Magically, a global application service provider, where he was in charge of business development and sales strategy of Asia before joining SAS. Earlier, Chan held several sales and management positions with multinational corporations like IBM and Xerox in Hong Kong.

Queenie Tse

Tse was a promotions and communications specialist at the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). Prior to SAS, she worked for Pearson Education China Ltd. as a promotions specialist and at TIME Inc. Asia as a business analyst.
