Security spending in Western Europe to grow at 15.2% a year

IT spending for security within the Western European banking sector is expected to grow at a 15.2% CAGR over the next 5 years. In terms of volume, IT spending for security counts for about 2% of the IT spending of the Western European banking industry and reached $952 mln in 2004, IDC says.
