Trading of all stocks on the New York Stock Exchange was temporarily halted Friday morning because of problems caused by an overnight software upgrade.The NYSE said half its trading floor was unable to complete transactions at the opening bell, so it took the entire exchange offline at about 10 AM EDT until the problem could be fixed.
