Sometimes, change is so easy...

Too bad all change couldn't be as easy as dropping a letter.

The fact that SOAP is the messaging transport for SOA is one of those interesting coincidences of life. (Okay, I need a life...) But, as I pontificated in a post last year, there have been efforts to rebrand SOAP as "Service-Oriented Application Protocol," rather than the convoluted and original acronym, "Simple Object Access Protocol" -- whatever that meant.
