Bangalore, Dec 3 (Asia Pulse) - Information Technology Leaders, APTECH Limited and Sun Microystems have announced their alliance to offer complete E-Business Solutions to the Banking and Insurance sectors in India and abroad.

Bhaskar Pramanik, Managing Director, Sun Microsystems India Pvt.Ltd. told reporters that the company would partner with Aptech to provide end to end e-commerce solutions to the finance, insurance and retail industries in India. "Sun is the leading provider of products and solutions that are helping .com organisations across the world. These products and solutions along with Aptech's expertise in E-commerce would provide the fillip to organisations in the finance industry to compete in the new millenium". Ganesh Natarajan, Managing Director, APTECH Limited said "Aptech will build world class solutions and address the banking, insurance and the Business segments for e-commerce solutions on Sun Platforms.

The company planned to invest over Rs 5 crore in E-commerce in the year 2000, Natarajan said. The target of the company was to reach US$18 million in business in the next three years, he said.
