I am told about 80,000 attendees come to this huge expo in Munich. I wonder where they come from? It is an all-week show and turnout this morning seems light. The security hall is well populated with security solutions. The European AV vendors seem to grow in size (based on their booth space) each year while the big three (Trend-Symantec-McAfee) seem to shrink. The usual dactylogram authentication vendors and even a facial recognition vendor are present.
One of the coolest things on display is an OS from Yellowtab. They have a very small, very fast operating system they call Zeta. The demo was way cool. Multi-lingual of course. Based on BeOS. I am going to try it on an old machine.
If you are in Munich and at this show drop me a line and we can meet up!
