Tech leaders endorse Bush

Hoping to offset a trip to the Silicon Valley by Democratic Presidential Candidate Al Gore, 200 tech executives who support George W. Bush will officially endorse the Texas Governor and Republican candidate on Tuesday. The group, which includes Sun Microsystem Inc. CEO Scott McNealy and Dell Computer Corp. CEO Michael Dell, will run an ad Tuesday in the San Jose Mercury News touting, among other things, Bush's plans for "reduced regulation and litigation." -- Lisa M. Bowman, ZDNet News
