TI and Microsoft team up for wireless
Making it easier to run funky software on a smartphone
Texas Instruments and Microsoft released details Wednesday of a collaboration to deliver broadband capability to mobile devices.
The solution combines Microsoft’s smartphone platform –- codenamed Stringer –- and TI’s mobile phone-based chipset technology.
The companies claim the venture will mean increased performance and battery life for future mobile devices.
