There's this new website called Truemors. Mike Arrington and others love it.

Near as I can tell, this is a social networking site where people can post rumors on pretty much anything. My first impression: part Digg, part F&^$&$ Company.

Lindsay Lohan, governmental conspiracies (as if), you name it.

In its first set of posts, though, there seems to be an integrated stash of digg rejects, plausible "what if" scenarios, and juvenile trolls about what Steve Jobs might or might not do, what the aforementioned Ms. Lohan might do next, etc.

Now there's a Truemorism making the rounds that Microsoft will buy Skype from eBaoy for $900 million.

Microsoft would love to be in consumer IP telephony services, and maybe eBay finally realized they paid too much for $kype.

So who knows?
