Retailers have come to realize that over the last couple of holiday seasons, consumers are still buying—but almost entirely interested in huge markdowns. So you need to keep the deals coming even after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and Wal-Mart has responded by having a "CyberWeek" of online deals. Stock is limited and some items have already disappeared from the Wal-Mart Web site, but there are still some deals on 1080p HDTVs.

Perhaps the juiciest specials are for the 46-inch 120Hz Toshiba 46XV640U LCD, which is priced at $898, and the Panasonic Viera TC-P42S1 42-inch plasma for $798. The Toshiba isn't offered by other major electronics online retailers, so you can't really comparison shop for it, but the Panasonic is also listed by Buy.com at nearly the same price.

If you don't mind dipping into the second-tier-brand pool, you can grab a 52-inch RCA L52FHD38 LCD for $1,098.00 or a Sceptre 46-inch LCD for $200 less than the Toshiba. Neither has 120Hz refresh rates, however. Looking for something a little smaller, which doesn't require 1080p? There's a 37-inch 720p Sceptre LCD for $498. as well as a 32-inch Panasonic Viera TC-L32X1 for $398.

Each TV can be shipped to your home for 97 cents, or you can have the set shipped to your local Wal-Mart for free pickup. If these HDTV deals don't get you excited, just wait: There will no doubt be more specials on the way, especially if holiday sales are flagging.
