WebXEL introduces WAP hosting service
SINGAPORE, 7 July 2000 - WebXEL Consulting Pte Ltd has launched Asia’s first site dedicated to providing WAP hosting service, www.WAPhosting.com.sg.
This hosting service is purely targeted at WAP developers and organizations going for wireless Internet.
Along with the hosting service, the company aims to sign up 100 organizations worldwide within the next 6 months for its S$5000 WAP development and maintenance (1-year) package, WAP-for-Everyone.
WAP-for-Everyone includes the design and development of a corporate WAP presence along with feedback mechanism, WAP hosting, and maintenance for one entire year.
Organizations need not cough out tens of thousands a year for WAP servers, bandwidth and WAP gateways in order to have a WAP presence.
WebXEL Consulting aims to make having a WAP site as affordable and simple as creating and maintaining a basic Web site.
WebXEL Consulting plans to include SMS, PDA, cHTML and other wireless services and solutions in the new site subsequently.
