The beta version of Google Chrome for Mac and Linux has finally dropped. Both versions are free and ready for download.

Some of the beta edition highlights include fixing speed and crashing issues, browser themes (sort of similar to iGoogle), and "Incognito" mode in case you want to surf the web without a trace and you're afraid someone might snoop into your browser history.

Has anyone been particularly waiting for this release? Let us know how well it works for you.
