Will Apple ever make a good mouse?

They got touch-screen down to a science, but Apple cannot make a functional mouse. If you look at the evolution of Apple mice, none have been good. (Techmeme)

Their latest Mighty Mouse sucks! There are no defined buttons, there is a little nub in the middle that's supposed to be a scroller, and the two buttons on the side are useless. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally right-click something.

Today, AppleInsider posted a rumor that Apple plans to overhaul the Mighty Mouse with new features. I hope they figure it out, because it's been 30 years of fail.
