Sprint updates Football Live service with college and pro coverage

I was disappointed when Sprint lost their NFL Mobile service, but they now launched an updated Sprint Football Live service that provides college and pro coverage. The application includes live game telecasts, stats, updates, social networking, and Fantasy Football information.

I played high school and college football and enjoying watching college and pro football too so I was disappointed when Sprint lost the NFL Mobile service to Verizon last year. As you know I have an HTC EVO 4G on Sprint so I was disappointed with their Sprint Football Live program that just seemed to give some scores and was not as functional as their old NFL Mobile application. That all changed today when Sprint announced and rolled out their updated Sprint Football Live application. I simply launched the Sprint Football Live application on my HTC EVO 4G and was prompted to install an update and now have the new full client.

THe new Sprint Football Live app and service is FREE to data subscribers and provides live game telecasts of college football games from ESPN Mobile TV and all seven Notre Dame home games (not that I care much about this team), real-time game center for every professional and major college game with live game stats, scoring summaries, play-by-play and more. Fantasy Football coverage is also supported so if you are into that you will really enjoy this service. Twitter feeds are provided from teams, players, and coaches.

Sprint Football Live is not just for Android devices and is available on many of Sprint's mobile phones. Thanks to PhoneScoop for the heads-up on the news.
