The lenses are built to save the photographer a lot of trouble by doing a lot of tasks automatically. The semi-pro lenses provide support for both manual and automatic support for time, aperture setting and exposure modes. The upgrades also include the ability to automatically transmit EXIF data (manufacturer, date, metering system and exposure) to the camera. Naturally, CZ also promises top-notch photo quality, so we'll just have to wait and see.
The following lens models will be released by the end of November:
The Distagon T* 28mm/f2 and macro Planar T* 100mm/f2 will be released sometime in Spring 2010.
Obviously for the serious professional photographers, the lenses won't be cheap, with a price range of €545-1,386 ($812-2,065), not including taxes.
