FringOut for Android takes off with calls starting at $0.01 per minute

VoIP calling apps seem to be popping up everywhere now. Following the Skype for Android app, Fring has one of its own too.

Using the new FringOut application, subscribers can make "almost-free calls" worldwide. Calls start as low as $0.01 per minute, and you can get a better sense of how many cents you'll be paying when subscribing on Fring's website.

Unlike Skype for Android, Fring boasts that you can use its app and make calls over Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G and exaggerates on to something about 5G. Is this enough to make you switch over?
