VoIP analysis tools help network managers and other IT folks monitor the performance of their VoIP call quality. Some can be specific enough in their reports to enable you to pinpoint and then fix any issues.

Today, Network World magazine is out with their ratings of seven such utilities. They compared seven such packages. The clear winner: ClearSight Networks' ClearSight Analyzer.

ClearSight Analyzer costs $8,000 but has powerful capabilities. Network World likes it for its support of standard and proprietary VoIP call-control protocols, the details of its bandwidth displays, and its capability of replaying RTP (Real-Time Transport Protocol).
