Time Warner Cable's (TWC) internet services crashed on Wednesday morning across large areas of the US.
The company, the second largest Internet provider in the US with about 67 million total users in more than two-dozen states, confirmed the outage in a tweet before most of the east coast was awake.
For unlucky TWC customers, many were unable to view it because of connectivity issues.
There was no estimated time for recovery given at the time the tweet was published.
It's not thought at this time that any other TWC services, such as phone and cable television, are affected by the internet outage.
Many have taken to social media sites, like Twitter and Facebook, to complain.
According to one heatmap, which reports outages based on user submissions, the outage seems to be most prevalent on the east coast. That said, many across the country — including the west coast — also claim to be suffering from lack of access.
