What am I bid for reduced greenhouse gas emissions?

Ten billion for international global warming combat fund.
Written by Harry Fuller, Contributor

The bidding seems to begin around $10 billion. The British Commonwealth and France are asking for an international fund of that size to help poorer nations deal with global warming. It is not clear how much of that they'd like to see donated by the U.S. and China, the earth's top greenhouse gas producers.

Like India, which I blogged on, Canada now stands against any mandatory emission cuts. They have to defend their huge tar sands industry from any drop in oil demand.

These national and regional political interests will get thrashed over at the Copehagen climate talks which begin December 7.
