I've been checking out a new online planning and social networking service called Skobee.

As I just showed you at the top, Skobee let's you research possible plans for the evening.

Then, when you decide on what you would like to do, you can invite your friends:

(Drunk at breakfast?)

After that, you can take a look at who is in, and who is out- and why. At least their version of why:

But I have a silly question. Say a fellow Skobee member hasn't replied to your invite yet or wants more info from you about the place you are coordinating a visit for. Like "do they serve vegetarian," or "does that band you want us to see still have the cute guitar player?

As one who has planned group nights out from time to time, these questions can come up.

Silly question: Where's the VoIP? I get the sense they want to also run on cellphones like Dodgeball, but how come there's no "call this Member" feature yet for this (thus far) desktop application?

Maybe a good oppty here for a softphone provider?
