Preorder the Nokia Lumia 900 on Amazon for just a penny
The Lumia 900 is priced aggressively at $99.99 on AT&T, but you can find better deals online. I just preordered a cyan one for just a penny over at Amazon.

One big difference between the Amazon Kindle and other ebook readers has been access to public library collections, but that is now no longer a barrier with this latest Kindle update.
I was reading my Twitter feed and stumbled upon a post by Rene announcing the new Kindle for iPhone application that you can now download for free (iTunes link) from the Apple App Store. Folks, this is BIG news for the ebook industry and came MUCH faster than I ever anticipated given that the Amazon Kindle 2 (check out my review) just started shipping last week. My Kindle 1 is now up for sale on ebay and it looks like my iPhone will now be a regular part of my gear. With the Kindle 2 and Whispersync technology the iPhone and Kindle 2 will make a perfect pair.
I bought a Fujitsu U810 UMPC a couple of months ago and while the device closes like a laptop to protect the display I wanted a case to protect the entire device. I searched online and the only case I found that was really made for the Fujitsu U810 was the Fujitsu leather portfolio case, but I was really just interested in a slip case design and didn't think I wanted the Fujitsu model. I have a Waterfield Designs cargo bag that I have been using for a couple of years and it looks as good as the first day it arrived. I contacted Waterfield Designs directly since I could not find a case size for the U810 on their site. I thought the Asus EeePC case looked about the closest in size, but my contact at Waterfield Designs recommended taking a look at the Amazon Kindle slip case. I purchased the Amazon Kindle one and after it arrived I ordered the Asus EeePC one so I could compare them directly and it turns out that I will be keeping both cases. Read my review to find out why.
Many of us tech enthusiasts have lots of old electronic gear lying around and sometimes it is good to clean house. Gazelle helps you recover some money and recycle your gear for free.
Amazon just announced a couple new Kindle units starting at $139 and has again set the bar for dedicated ebook reading devices.
$99 seems to be the magical ebook reader price and Borders now hits it with one model while also now offering Android-based color ebook readers. The ebook war continues to be a hot one.
Roku announced three new models of Roku players, ranging from $59.99 to $99.99. We spent some time with the Roku XDS high end model and are quite impressed with over 85 channels of media content to enjoy.
Amazon isn't going to sit and let Barnes & Noble have features beyond what they do so today they rolled out support for lending Kindle ebooks.
A few months ago I wrote about the fact that the Amazon Kindle did not support local public library offerings through Overdrive while the Sony Reader did. Since then we have seen the Barnes & Noble Nook and other ebook readers appear that all support local public library content. Local libraries provide books through Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) DRM that allow you to check out ebooks for a period up to 14 days. After hearing about the Kindle firmware update provided yesterday for the 2nd generation Kindle devices with PDF support I was hoping Amazon was finally opening up a bit. That hope was quickly dashed though after doing a bit of research and finding out that ADE is still not supported on the Kindle.
