10 geekiest iPhone stands

If you thought that yesterday's iPad accessories were weird, you haven't seen anything yet. People have an obvious fetish with their gadgets and to a greater extent, their iPhones. So what's a self-respective gadget-lover to do with their iPhone when it's not in use? Build a throne for it, of course!

Asylum took a look at some of the more creative docks (if you can call them that) people have built for their iPhones. My favorite is the old school rotary phone dock (pictured) but the geekiest has to be the Mario pipe dock. I had to think about it for a minute too, but then all those countless hours of playing Mario Brothers brought it right back for me.

Runner up for geekiest iPhone stand would probably be either NES controller or NES gun dock, then there's also the Lego dock -- but people have made stranger Apple things out of Lego.

I just use a boring old dock cable with a USB extension cable to charge my iPhone each night, but the Asylum piece is inspiring. What's your iPhone docking solution?
