In case you were wondering which camera has the Guinness World Record for the most lenses, wonder no further. The Nagoya Institute of Technology in Japan has fashioned a camera with the 158 lenses pictured above.
CrunchGear reports (based on this MSN Japan article) that the academic team put it together to shoot 3D images with CT technology of a swaying flame from the most angles possible. Developed over the course of six months, the apparatus is 2.8-inches high and 18.5-inches in diameter.
I'm curious as to what other subjects they will be using this to photograph in the future. Any ideas?
