19% of IT managers said their IT purchasing budgets grew by 10% or more

Goldman Sachs conducted a survey of corporate managers in charge of IT purchases trying to estimate the IT spending climate. 19% of respondents expect the 2006 IT spending budgets to go 10% and above the corresponding 2005 budgets. The top three priorities remain security, application integration and compliance/risk management.
