93% of corporate users will install a non-sanctioned app within the next 6 months

Within the next 6 months, 93% of corporate users will have deployed some type of software not sanctioned by the IT department. 78 percent now use one or more of such non-sanctioned applications. Among IT managers surveyed by FaceTime Communications, 30% of those who experienced a virus incident said IM was the root of the problem.
