Alternative energy investment: going up

More money to be speng on greentech next year, regardless of what happens in Copenhagen.

Despite the Copenhagen follies, there will be a significant increasein spending on alternative energy in 2010. Here's a look at some of the planned investment in solar and wind around the world, over $200-billion worth.

Some have compared China's spending on renewable energy as a new version of the arms racce, this one for peaceful power. China's spending as much on renewable energy as on its military. Perhaps China won't be needing to occupy any oil-producing countries?
