Chip maker Advanced Micro Devices Inc. was hit with two class-action lawsuits today. Both complaints were filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, one on behalf of those purchasing AMD stock between Nov. 12, 1998 and Jan. 13, and the other on behalf of those purchasing it between Nov. 12, 1998 and Jan. 14.
