This just in: Apple has gone overboard with the product demonstrations.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs kicked off his WWDC keynote with a video and a parade of developers showing off games and devices that will appear on the iPhone App Store "in a few weeks."

Meanwhile, all of these live bloggers are squirming. Where is that pesky 3G iPhone? The count: One hour and all demos and customer testimonials. Ouch.

Ed Burnette is pondering a 3G chant. He writes:

The crowd is getting restless. Well, not really, they’re eating it all up, amazingly. Hey, if anybody’s reading this let’s start a chant: 3G! 3G! 3G!

Investors aren't too pleased either. Apple shares are down more than $8 to $177.56. But that's not too surprising expectations were way out of whack going into the keynote.
