Beijing, Dec 9 (Asia Pulse) - China is to hold its Fourth International E-Commerce Conference at the Beijing International Conference Center on April 6, 2000.
The aim is to strengthen international exchange and cooperation in E-commerce and promote the application and development of E-commerce in China. The fourth conference will be more international and larger in scale than the previous three sessions. According to the sponsors -- Ministry of Information Industry, State Economic and Trade Commission and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, there will be exhibitions, seminars and investment promotion talks during the conference.
The exhibitions will have a booth area of 8,000 sq m, mainly for the display of mature solutions, platforms, technologies and equipment for E-commerce to be contributed by famous enterprises at home and abroad. The seminars will feature speeches by senior government officials, business executives, experts and scholars.
