Buffalo Kokuyo has unveiled their new 4-port USB 3.0 hub, with the not-so-easy name, the BSH4A03U3. Sounds like a code or password from Lost.

The BSH4A03U3 hub is both Windows and Mac friendly, supporting XP, Vista and 7 and Mac OS X 10.4. Available in simple colors (either black or white), it's encased in a glossy exterior with blue LED lights.

It features a 5Gbps max transfer speed, and it includes an AC adapter to plug the hub into a wall socket in case you can't power it up from a computer.

However, this new-found speed and multiple connectivity options won't come cheap, as its selling in Japan for ?8,000 ($89). It might just be best to wait for the inevitable price drop as USB 3.0 gains more ground.
