Clean Tech non-profit seeks green-tech start-up ideas

The organization is running its fourth annual competition for business plan ideas and is accepting entries in the categories of Air, Water & Waste, Energy Efficiency, Green Building, Renewables, Smart Power and Transportation.

If you've got the guts to develop a business plan right now, the goodly folks at non-profit Clean Tech Open are willing to take a risk on you. The organization is running its fourth annual competition for business plan ideas and is accepting entries in the categories of Air, Water & Waste, Energy Efficiency, Green Building, Renewables, Smart Power and Transportation.

So far, Clean Tech has passed out more than $125 million in funding to more than 100 companies, including Aurora Biofuels, Cool Earth Solar and GreenVolts
