comScore: TVs and PCs in the same room

Like browsing while watching TV? According to October data from comScore Media Metrix Canada, just under one-half (49.5%) of online Canadians have their PC and TV in the same room. Of those people, notes comScore, 48.6% say they frequently use both devices simultaneously. Another 31.2% say they use both occasionally whereas just 7.2% say they never use the two at the same time. What about the US perspective? 48% of US home Net users have their Internet-enabled PC in the same room as their TV. comScore also found in 2002 that 47% of these people went online frequently while watching TV.
