Could palmOne LifeDrive PDA work as a softphone?

Over the weekend, I went to the Web site of U.K.-based education technology site Handheld Learning and found some specs for the forthcoming palmOne LifeDrive.

Haven't seen a more complete PDA. Takes photos, plays music, does Bluetooth. It's not a phone, but it does offer full Wi-Fi-enabled Web access.

So I'm thinking... "hmm... what if this came with a pre-loaded softphone application? Could I do VoIP?
