Yesterday was the first day of summer, but it's been hot most places for awhile. To keep cool, Dyson has added a pair of very large fans to its blade-less Air Multiplier collection: the Pedestal and Tower.

While Air Multiplier fans are actually toted as being a blade-less, these two do have blades in the base to generate air, which is released through the Quidditch goal-looking shapes as pictured. Yet 93% of the air generated by the fans actually comes from entrained surrounding air.

Standing 1 meter tall (39.65 inches), the AM02 Tower (pictured on the left) amplifies the cool air 16 times over. The AM03 Pedestal measures even taller at 46.77 inches, ampifying air 18 times. Both draw approximately nine gallons of air each second.

Both of the fans can be "infinitely" adjusted up or down to the user's liking. And if you're just too hot to even move, you can control the airflow and oscillation via remote control.

Both the Tower and Pedestal Air Multipliers will cost $449.99 when they go on sale. No release date has been specified yet, but you can sign up to be notified via e-mail when they're ready.
